If you're like us, one thing you hate is looking like a fool-to either your friends or any adults. And although you may not know it yet, lots of adults and businesses make fools of people our age. A lot of businesses even make a lot of money making fools of us.
IsThatSo? is about helping to make you fool proof. It gives you a heads-up on the real world as you head to college or a job.
We developed this-and we're not much older than you. So, we wanted to make it interesting and real.

First, everything you read here is real. Every example in IsThatSo? is about a real young person who was taken advantage of or who did something right. Sometimes the kids who got taken were at fault. They didn't listen or know any better. Or worse, they didn't care. Sometimes the businesses were at fault. The free enterprise system is a great thing, but it doesn't protect you: it allows business to sell you, whether or not you should be buying. You better learn that lesson right now. |
Second, if you're smart, you're going to be scared by some of the stuff we're going to show you. Why? Because it's so easy to mess up when it comes to money. Starting right now, everything you do financially —both good and bad— is going to follow you for the rest of your life. Literally. Little mistakes now can create huge, long-term problems.
